Great. Now I'm addicted to Can You Duet on top of the whole American Idol thing that I'm still blaming [personal profile] malnpudl for. I can't help it, though. I don't even like country music that much, but this fills me with joy. FILLS ME with it, I tell you!

So, here's Ryan and Avalon singing "Tennessee Waltz" (admittedly, I am now rooting for them to win, just so I can be sure there'll be an album I can buy), and Brandon and Johnathan singing "Longtime Gone". Also from the week before, I quite liked Steel Magnolia singing "When the Stars Go Blue" (skip to about 2:25 for the music), the Stellas singing "Can't Let Go" (1:43 for music) and O'Shea singing "The Lucky One".

Er, Big Bang kind of took me by surprise. In that I thought I was posting my first art on Sunday but had I bothered to consult the schedule again, I'd have known it was today. And also that there are no postings over the weekend. Oops?

This art is for a Supernatural GEN story by [livejournal.com profile] ofthisangel, and I'll edit this post with links to the story once she's posted the master list and whatnot. OMG, Big Bang! W00T!

[ETA: WOOHOO! The fic is posted! She Destroys You Line By Line, by [livejournal.com profile] ofthisangel. Clicky for summary, warnings, etc etc.]

Additionally, this artwork is really spoilery. REALLY. Like, for some reason I chose to illustrate the big twist? Because I'm dumb? So if you're prefer to remain spoiler-free and you intend to read the gen stories in this year's Big Bang, you might want to skip this for now and come back to it later.

YARRRGH! HERE THERE BE ARTWORKS! AND THEY BE SPOILERY, MATEYS! AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH PIRATES! )

I still have one more story to post artwork for (in August, thankfully, and though this is my first Big Bang and I am admittedly very bad at working on a deadline, I'm totally having fun with it. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ofthisangel for the story, the good times, and the squee that warms the very cockles of my heart. If hearts have cockles. I'm pretty sure I saw that on an anatomical diagram once. Something about cock, anyway.
