stones taught me to fly
Jul. 17th, 2009 12:08 pmYou know, I used to be kind of a pessimist and sort of unhappy about the world in general. But then I realized that we have the Internet now. And on the Internet, there is always something to make you LOL. Oh internet. You're so full of wacky.
Anyway, I'm feeling optimistic about the world in general these days, which is odd because for once the international climate sort of suits my more usual doom-and-gloom outlook. I guess I'm just a rebel.
In other news, I've resumed writing on my last Stargate Atlantis work in progress, and I'll be damned if it isn't good. Like, really good. And hot. Oh, flist. I have the fanfic magic back!
In addition, partly for work and partly just because I want to, I'm planning a trip to southern Oregon next weekend. Thanks to work I'll be able to stay in B&Bs and eat at restaurants that normally I would never be able to afford, so since the trip will be very low-cost for me, I splurged and bought myself tickets for Henry VIII at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which is one of those things I've always wanted to go to but never quite managed. And it's at the Elizabethan Theater, which is the big outdoor one that's built all Shakespearean and shit. It's going to be epic. I wish you could all come.
